 I recycled my old turquoise t-shirt and made it into a dress and flower clip for Amelia :-)

 Pizza night at Cici's.  Jack LOVED it and ate 4 or 5 slices of pizza!

 She has been really enjoying playing with (or should I say chewing on) her baby doll.   

 We went to a friends birthday party where they had a real monkey!

 I found this cute little doll stroller at a garage sale last week and got it for Amelia to one day play with.  Well the other evening when I told Jack we were going to go out on a walk, he walked right to the door with this stroller and his superman action figure doll, all ready to go!

 Amelia wore her 1st smocked dress to a yummy lobsterfest lunch at Red Lobster.  I was pretending we were on a cruise while enjoying my food.

 We visited with Mimie & Papa for a morning.  Papa took Jack into his office to show him around all his pictures and gadgets.

We had a spur of the moment late night "date night" in the car and got ice cream at McDonald's. Kind of nice that we still have Jack in his rear facing car seat.  He had no idea we were enjoying a yummy dessert up front without him.

Easter 2013

On Saturday morning we went to an Easter egg hunt with the church.  

It was actually a helicopter egg drop!

Jack saw some animals in the petting zoo.

 Amelia went on her first Easter egg hunt.

She seemed to enjoy holding onto the one pink egg she hunted.

 Then the helicopter flew in with the eggs for the big kids!

 Both Barrett and Jack loved seeing a real helicopter up close!

 The Easter bunny was in the helicopter and tons of eggs were dropped out onto the field.  I was wondering how the eggs would be dropped to the ground without opening up.  The answer....they do open up.  It was basically a field of cracked open plastic eggs and stickers blowing in the breeze.

 Jack wasn't too sure about hunting the eggs.  He seemed to be more interested in the helicopter than the cracked open eggs.

 We went to the family egg hunt at the playground in our neighborhood.

 Easter afternoon we just relaxed, spent time on the front porch, played and ate popsicles.

Amelia is 4 Months Old

Amelia is 4 months old! Time is flying!

She is such a sweet and very precious baby girl.

* Loves to smile and laugh

* Loves to be held (facing out) and look around at all that is going on

*Loves her bumbo chair

* Loves to be outside in this beautiful weather

* Loves to eat at the same exact time mommy tries to eat :-)

She weighs 13 lbs. 5 oz. (36th percentile) and is 24 inches long (also 36th percentile)

She is in mostly size 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers.

She is slowly getting more little bits of light brown hair on the top of her head. I like to think that I may see an occasional curl in her hair (how fun it would be to have another curly head) but it is still a bit to early to tell.  Her eyes are a beautiful shade of blue. And that smile is the BEST!

She has moved from the bassinet to the pack n play in our bedroom.  She normally wakes up once to eat during the night and numerous times for a paci.  She takes cat naps throughout the day at home.  If out and about and in her car seat she will normally nap for longer periods of time. I guess she likes the movement and noise while driving around in the car or the loudness in the stores.  She continues to be a snacking eater, an ounce of milk here and there.  Overall I would say she eats about 6 ounces of milk every 4 hours. She still has bottles during the day and nurses during the night and first thing in the morning. She rolled from her tummy to her back for the first time again since being 2 months old, but only once -of all places while at the pediatricians office for her 4 month check up. She was apparently showing off that skill to the doctor so that it could be checked off the list of accomplishments, but still doesn't want to do it again.  Silly girl!

Jack is in love with playing in the backyard.  Not sure what the attraction is to this tree, but he sure enjoyed playing by it.
