Jack's 1st Christmas

CHRISTMAS DAY!

Happy Birthday JESUS! Thank you for coming to the world as a little baby. We love You and love to celebrate your birthday! You are the greatest gift ever!

It was an extra special Christmas this year because we got to spend it with a child of our very own! It was so much fun! We loved getting the house all decorated and watch Jack enjoy all the lights and decorations (yum, I think he enjoyed eating those decorations more than looking at them, but anyway...)

LOVE it - the decorated tree with presents all around, a fire in the fire place, new freshly made stocking for each of us (I had been wanting to make these for years), and a cute red wagon waiting for the little man!

We weren't sure how Jack would react in the morning, but he was actually excited to see some new toys! I'd say his favorite was this new farm set.

Back to the farm he went. He loved this farm! He would be trying to play with it then we would pass him another gift to open. He would get upset because he would just want to play with the farm, not open another gift.

And it wouldn't be Christmas without some candy making in the kitchen. Yum!

On Christmas we also went over to my parents house in the morning for our family gift exchange then went over again that evening for Chirstmas dinner and time with my grandparents and other extended family. Did I take any pictures there? Of course not! Oh my! But I will have those memories in my head as pictures (at least that is my plan right now :-) It was a great Christmas day!
