Jack's 1st Haircut

At 17 months we decided it was beyond time for Jack to get his first haircut!  We love his hair but it was getting a little out of control - see how its sticking out all over the place.

Jack is looking a little nervous and not sure what is going on in most of these pictures.  Here we were outside of our neighbors house (Zach's grandmas house) right before the haircut.  She is a hair dresser and even has a barber chair sitting in her kitchen. She had been asking for months if she could cut his hair, so we finally took her up on the offer. It was a perfect setup!

Getting ready with the big apron

He didn't like the big apron. He was trying to pull it off.

He won...notice now he just has his stripped shirt on now.  As you can tell on my face, I guess I was a little nervous too, hoping that my little boy would still be just as cute as before his haircut.

Look how perfectly it turned out!  Mommy is happy.  Jack still wasn't convinced it was the best thing to do.

And then he saw the lollipop!

Suddenly everything became ok and he forgot all about the haircut!  For the record, we didn't have his curls cut off the back of his head.  There is no picture, but just picture several cute little curls behind this freshly groomed young boys face. :-)
