Amelia is 12 Months Old

Our baby girl turned ONE on November 26th.

She weighs 19lbs 13oz and is 27 inches tall.

Amelia has 4 teeth - 2 on the top, 2 on the bottom.

She is one happy girl and always on the go.  This month was by far the hardest month to get her to sit for a couple seconds while I took her 12 month picture.  She is a wiggle worm!

 She wears 12-18 month clothes, size 3 shoes, and size 3 diapers.

It is becoming more and more of a challenge to get her to keep her bows, shoes and socks on.  Yes, she is a girl that doesn't like her accessories right now (unless of course she is able to chew on them.)  Surely she will grow out of this soon, right?

Amelia loves to be out and about.  She is a real people watcher which makes for lots of entertainment for her when we are out shopping.  She also loves to smile at everyone which brings a smile to everyone's face that sees her.  Just precious!

Amelia started to really pick up on her walking and is walking ALL THE TIME now!!!!  It just seemed to click for her a few days before her birthday and she has been going strong ever since!  No more crawling for this girl.

Amelia has struggled with her sleeping at night.  It had become routine for her to wake up around 2:30am each night and scream if I put her back into her own bed. So being the tired mom that I was at 2:30 each morning I'd bring her to bed with us where she would sleep peacefully for the rest of the night.  But I'm so excited to report that the last week or so she has slept through the night in her own crib!!!!  Really, like the day she turned one she started sleeping better. Crazy! (now that I wrote this she will probably go back to waking up during the night. Please no!)

Amelia loves to eat.  Her favorite are still veggies (carrots, green beans, corn, edamame) and fruit (pears, apples, grapes, bananas) along with cheese and cracker type snacks. She eats 3 meals a day at the table with us and still a few bottles throughout the day.  I made it a full year feeding her 'mommy milk'.  We are now in the process of transitioning over to whole milk. 

Amelia favorite thing right now is being outside!

 This big one year old was walking around the waiting room at the pediatrician for her one year check-up.  She got a great report from the doctor and is a perfectly healthy little girl! We are so thankful for all the joy Amelia has brought us this past year.  We are blessed!
