I had my baby shower for Jack yesterday! It was so much fun!!! My wonderful sister Tara did all of the planning for it and it turned out perfectly!
Absolutely incredible and adorable cookies (made by a very talented neighbor!)
The Plates
The Cake
Jack even had his own "Candy Bar"
Jack's Candy Bar
All ready to open gifts!
We had a diaper raffle. Anyone who brought a package of diapers could enter their name into a drawing for a chance to win a prize. We got LOTS of diapers which we are VERY thankful for.
Is this "Jack" wrapping paper cute or what???
Burp cloths with Jack's name monogrammed onto them.
We had Jack's 3D/4D ultrasound video playing in the background.
GramPam made this beautiful and very soft knit blanket for baby Jack.
Basket of goodies and a swing from my teacher friends.
Jack's 2 great-grandmother's were able to be there for the shower - Grandy and Mimie.
My friend Amy, my Aunt Dina, and my cousins Hollen and Jorden.
Some of my teacher friends.

Fish Fry
34!!!!!!!!!That is the number of catfish that were caught over the coarse of the last couple months during catch and keep. Most were caught by Barrett with the exception of a few caught by myself, my parents, and one of the neighbors. After many hours of fishing and then many more hours spent filleting the 34 fish, it was time for the big fish fry!!!

Projects for Jack
I love to sew! This week I made a few projects for my little man, Jack.
Bib
Travel Wipes Container
Baby Shoes
Crib Sheet
This is the fabric I have used in his room for curtains, the name frames over his crib, the crib sheet. It is also what I used for these other projects this week. My mom is also in the process of making a diaper bag for him using this fabric along with a beautiful and very soft solid brown fabric. I love it!

Trick-or-Treat
This was the first year we stayed home to pass out candy to all the trick or treaters. We had a blast! The weather was perfect to sit out on the front porch and pass out candy. We had a great turn out with many kids in such adorable costumes.
Barrett had just gone fishing and brought home 7 new catfish to add to our collection. He thought it would be fun to ask the kids if they would rather candy or a catfish. Ha! Silly guy. All the kids (and parents) got a kick out of it.

Candy or catfish?????
I decided to dress Jack and my big tummy up this year as a "Jack" O Lantern. Thought it would be appropriate since the baby's name is Jack and I am round like a pumpkin right now. Fun!
3D/4D Ultrasound Pictures of Jack
We went this weekend to have a 3D/4D ultrasound done of our little guy Jack at 30 weeks. He is absolutely precious!!!!!!!!!!! What an amazing thing to be able to get a glimpse of what our little baby boy will look like once he is born while he is still in Mommy's tummy. He cooperated so well for his photo session and is very photogenic! We have found that he loves to have his little hands up near his face. His cheeks are so big, round, and cute. We saw him with the hiccups. It was really neat to feel him hiccup and see it on the screen at the same time. He gave us one short glimpse of having one of his eyes open. His toes seem to be long and he likes to fan them out. He is still for sure a BOY!!!!! We had a great experience! As a keepsake we have a fantastic 30 minute long video of Jack along with a CD of 97 incredible pictures of him. Here are a few of our favorite pictures we got of our little Jack Ryan.
Resting his chin on his fist
Here you can see his face, both hands, and one of his feet.
Perfect fingers!
His cute long toes all fanned out

Precious big, round cheeks

Just about 10 more weeks and we will see this precious baby face to face! We are so excited and honored to have the incredible privilege of being parents. The Lord has been SO good to us!
"You saw me before I was born.
Everyday of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed."
